Staten Island, New York bakal mempunyai roda Ferris terbesar dunia. Roda Ferris yang akan mula dibina pada tahun 2014 dan siap 2015 ini akan mempunyai ketinggian 190.5 meter dan ianya 25.5 meter lebih tinggi dariSingapore Flyer. Road Ferris yang diberi nama New York Wheel ini mempunyai36 kapsul yang mampu memuatkan 40 orang pada satu-satu masa. Kos pembinaanya pula ialah
sekitar USD 230 juta (RM690 Juta). Pembinaanya diharap dapat membangunkan Staten Island yang mempunyai reputasi buruk sebagai tempat pelupusan sambah terbesar New York. Disamping New York Wheel, sebuah pusat membeli belah dan sebuah hotel juga akan dibina untuk pengunjung.Bagus juga New York Wheel dibina kerana seperti anda sedia maklum roda Ferris ialah dicipta oleh George Washington Gale Ferris Jr , seorang warga Amerika Syarikat.
